2022年7月28日 · There is no single SCP-001. When SCP wiki started, SCP's were more-or-less randomly taking numbers, relatively low numbers under 1000. They weren't given in order or in any kind of meaningful sequence.

Using some really rough estimates and slightly bad math due to small sample size and the fact that I don't want to manually do the calculations so I used a dice stats calculator 1000D4 averages around 2500, with almost all rolls being between 2483 and 2582. 1000d8 averages about 4500 with amost all possible rolls lie in the 4333 to 4668 range.

2015年6月20日 · Interesting, especially given that I can't actually think of (relative to 2500+ SCPs at the time of writing) too many instances where this kind of thing would happen. It'd certainly make for a unique and fresh experience.

2015年3月8日 · Putting the containment procedures first tells us something about the Foundation and it's priorities. It tells us something about the "purpose" of the document. This emphasis on containment is central to the storytelling on the site. Everyone remembers SCP-231, and the lengths to Foundation will go to contain the anomalous.

2014年9月11日 · The post about how the Foundation site is now legally allowed to use SCP 173's image got me really thinking about some of the other images on the site. Does anybody know where some of the images from SCP articles come from? And if so, does anyone here think that we should give credit to the creators of those images like we did with SCP 173?
