As for the models and rooms, IMO the SDA2 and 1C have the closer speaker spacing, less wide sound stage, and work in smaller less wide rooms with less SDA reflections. The SRS 2 have the wider speaker spacing and a more wide sound stage, but can get reflections in a narrower room. I have some 1Cs and SRS 2.3s.

SDA-SPS 1.2 and 2.3 are physically large speakers, their styling is elegant and unobtrusive and their acoustic design makes them almost entirely free of room dependent acoustic effects. 2023年7月22日 · I went ahead and picked up the SDA SRS 2.3's and the SDA SRS 2's. The 2B's had some enclosure damage that was outside of my skillset. The SDA SRS 2's indeed are Blade/Blade and the top and bottom are actual solid wood. The 2.3's are vinyl veneer. They need a good deep cleaning and some tweeter swaps to correct models.

2010年1月31日 · The Polk board guys say the SRS 2 might be the best-sounding SDA model overall. 14x16' sounds like a usable room size. It's easily big enough for the minimum setup Polk recommends for these things. Some people think the SL2000 has a bad peak in its response somewhere. It's popular right now to replace them with new Polk silk-domes.

The I got a Rotel RB1090 amp (380 w/ch into 8 ohms). I've been eyeing the SDA SRS 2.3's for a while and am thinking about buying a set real soon. But I'm wondering what to expect; how they compare to the 1C's and if I should rather wait for a set of SRS 2.3 TL's.

2020年10月3日 · A little while I lucked out picking a set of Polk Audio SDA 2B speakers up for an extremely reasonable price. Long story short, I performed all the recommended upgrades, I love them, they will likely always have a place in the house.
