2023年12月11日 · Hi guys, I tested a new SE amplifier with 300b and a mu folower type driver with D3a and EL802, DC final tube filament supply, anode voltage 420v, bias current 85mA, OT impendance-5.2K/8 ohm and a servobias system for bias regulation.

I always wanted to take a shot at designing a class A2 single ended 300B amplifier. The attached schematics is a works in progress that I will plan build to build but I thought I would share my design as it stands and ask for some suggestions on what might be done better.

2019年4月24日 · The first amp I built was the Tubelab SE, which used the 5842 to drive the 300B in a grid biased configuration. The 5842 can put out the maximum voltage and current (ca. 170V/8mA) for driving the 300B, and it was fine.

TheSvetlana 300B uses ultra-pure carbonized nickel plate material and a proprietary oxide coating on the filament to give Western Electric-like performance. The filament is center-tapped to insure low hum.

The SE300B Mono Amplifier is an all-tube power amplifier employing the famous 300B filamentary triode in single-ended (Class-A) operation mode for an output of up to 10 watts into a 4, 8 or 16 ohm loudspeaker load.

The SE300B supplies a power of 10W RMS and functions in pure class-A with single-ended mounting (the two tubes are in parallel) with an automatic bias. The two high voltages, driver and power, have vacuum-tube power supplies. The bandwidth (at –3dB) is from 20Hz to 20kHz, without any feedback.
