SGA Election Commission Texas A&M University (College Station, TX) The purpose of Election Commission is to ensure a fair and efficient election process for student leaders across campus in Fall and Spring elections.

SGA aims to foster an awareness of the student’s role in the academic community, as well as to enhance the quality and scope of education at the University. As well as this, we look to provide means for responsible and effective participation in the organization of student affairs. SGA officers are elected each semester by the TAMUG student body.

Each freshman is assigned to one committee, commission, or branch in SGA in order to serve needs in that avenue throughout the year. By getting involved and serving in this capacity, Fish Aides have the opportunity to learn valuable leadership skills from hands-on experience and from well-developed leaders already serving in SGA.
