San Bernardino Peak (HPS #11) is a popular hike on the west end of the massive Gorgonio ridge. The trailhead is at Angelus Oaks and requires navigating a half mile of rough dirt road. It can be safely driven in most vehicles with care.

Know where you are and where you are going to make your hiking experience more enjoyable and safe. The trailhead is reached by turning east off Highway 38 to Forest Falls. Continue through Forest Falls to the top end (east end) of the picnic area at the end of the road (6,080′).
