SH-AWD VS AWD VS 4x4 : r/Acura - Reddit
2020年8月24日 · The SH-AWD system uses torque vectoring differentals, while a 4X4 system uses a transfer-case, and locking differentials. Both can get you unstuck from mud but ultimately acheive that by sending power to where its needed. SH-AWD will send more power to the appropiate wheel while a 4X4 will lock the differential. Quattro VS. SH-AWD : r/Acura - Reddit
2020年12月17日 · SH-AWD is built on a torque vectoring platform which is good for gaining traction in conditions such as snow or rain while Quattro is built on a performance Rally platform where all wheels get the same amount of power. Those of you with the SH-AWD : r/Acura - Reddit
I traded my 2018 FWD for the 2023 SH-AWD. The FWD would spin out if you accelerated quickly or if the road was wet/snow. I didn't like the feeling of losing traction. I enjoy the response/feel of the SH-AWD, especially when driving through the mountains. What I didn't fully grasp was the fuel economy. The V6 FWD averaged 27mpg.
SH-AWD owners, how is it in the snow? : r/Acura - Reddit
2014年9月8日 · Audis (the A4-A8, anyway) are AWD based. Really, they're made with quattro in mind and FWD is adapted in later. That's why they have longitudinally mounted motors in a FWD application. SH-AWD is a great system but torque vectoring differentials are a performance driving feature and aren't really relevant to the snow.

2022年10月20日 · SH-AWD is a phenomenal system and the 6MT was not slow during it's heyday and is still respectable in terms of quickness. Or, maybe I'm just biased. The 1G TLX seemed like it had a dropoff in interior quality, personality, performance, etc, especially pre-MCE.

Different size tires with SH-AWD? : r/Acura - Reddit
2022年12月6日 · All 4 tires need to be within 2/32” tread depth and the same size in order not to damage the sh-awd system… so running a staggered setup like this is definitely not recommended and will probably cause damage long term
