An ATV is an awesome choice for bugging out with very little cargo. Their off-road capabilities are bound to be a key advantage when SHTF. Just make sure that ATVs are the right choice for you, and be aware of their limitations. You might find that a UTV, or any other vehicle class, would be a much better choice for your needs.
