Units are expressed in: (Megagrams * meters^2) / (seconds * radians) (Normal SI units would use kilograms, but in KSP all masses use a 1000x scaling factor.) Justification for radians here: Unlike the trigonometry functions in kOS, this value uses radians rather than degrees.

2023年4月13日 · As an imperial units user with 4,000+ hours of KSP 1, I mostly just ignore my velocity and accomplish colonizing the Kerbol system without really “understanding” my velocity. I just know when to switch rapier modes when the acceleration for my SSTOs is low, and just add m/s ΔV according to the ΔV map to get where I need to go.

2019年10月29日 · KSP uses SI units for lots of measurements, except resources, which use poorly defined units, the worst examples being liquid fuel, oxidizer and electric charge. For a game with so much realisum and educational potential this seems like a missed trick.

2023年1月3日 · KSP uses the duration format for I sp. If an engine with specific impulse (in seconds) is generating newtons of thrust, the fuel it burns every second will weigh newtons on Earth (the planet whose is used to convert the unit of specific impulse into "seconds").
