I'm actually surprised you got all the parts, $449 is the price of the upper receiver alone, I bet that's what she quoted you.

2021年6月26日 · Based on these photos, my MPX PCC is a combination of gen 2 and 3 parts. The upper receiver is a gen 2, while my BCG is a gen 3. Then looking at my MPX 8 inch that I recently bought, it does not come with MPX trigger, yet has the gen 3 upper receiver with MLOK HG, and gen 2 BCG. Wondering about reputation now that it seems they just mix up parts.

2020年8月9日 · I bought the SIG MPX upper on line in their store. They come with two screws and a bolt plate to hold the baarel in place like later Gen. 2s. The correct torque is 25 inch pounds. The ejector plate is different and seems to be intended to be more durable. The steel cam plate isn't used, there is just a milled out area for the cam pin's travel.

2021年11月15日 · The next photo shows the air gap between the upper and lower. the Photo is just for info purpose, don’t expect a matched upper and lower to fit with no gap on this gun. Sig does use a rubber piece in the back to push up on the upper so the rattle between the upper and lower is reduced. The next two photos show that the crack is now gone.

2020年4月13日 · If your MCX was purchased new, SIG will owe you a new upper when the upper finally fails or a viable repair. The newer style of bolts are mounted a steel rail. For all I know, SIG may be able to mill your upper to accept the new bolt package. ILWT sells both the older bolts and the newer bolts for the MCX. Shipping is free and fast when in stock.

2023年12月30日 · I have a G2 8” and I built a full gen 3 upper 4”. I went through all the pain doing it too. In my case I wanted both uppers so I spent the money to do it. The newer Gen 3 upper needs a Gen 3 bolt. I could not run my Gen 2 bolt reliably in my Gen 3 upper. It would FTF and bind. Once I put a G3 bolt in all my problems went away.

2018年3月18日 · The MPX, MCX and Virtus upper receivers are all made with 6061-T6 alloy instead of 7075-T6. Just about all AR manufacturers these days build their upper receivers with 7075 for a reason, it is a much stronger alloy than the 6061 and superior in just about every way.
