2008年5月25日 · Need advice on best optics for an SL-8. Currently have the original dual sight with 3x scope and find it a bit underpowered for shooting at 100 yards plus. 2010年6月13日 · The scope, if you want to know, is a Vortex Viper 4-12x40. This is not the same as the Vortex Viper PST line. For $400, my scope has served me well. If you are going to do some precision shooting, I recommend getting a higher magnification scope because 12x is not nearly enough for me, I just shoot paper prone.

Is the 8-40 x 52 Tactical/target the same optical quality as the SS series? Will the 8-40 hold 0 as magnification changes? How do they vary with reguards to eye relief?

2007年10月21日 · What type (and height) scope rings will fit the supplied rail on the SL-8? I would like to mount my 1" tube Weaver V16 (40mm objective) on it for now - until I can find a good deal on a Leupold MK4 6.5-20. You have to watch the high magnification scopes Coyote.
