2018年4月12日 · To convert the rom from .smc or .sfc you can use a tool called “ucon64”, but I believe the rom would be the same either way. Smc was a copier called the Super Magicom which created the dumps with the .smc extension, and .sfc was another copier but the name escapes me. Just change the extension. Also, ucon64 can add/remove headers as well. Numerous applications can do that task, though.

2022年5月6日 · Hey all, I am preparing my roms for the RP2+ and I have noticed it doesn’t support SFC roms just SMC roms. I ,like I assume so many, only have sfc roms for snes. Is there a way to convert or somewhere I can download the correct file extension?

2023年9月27日 · The "smile" tool for super metroid rom hacks needs a .snes format of super metroid. I could only find .sfc roms (which smile won't recognize,) and was wondering is there a way to convert a .sfc rom to a .snes rom.

I recently installed a custom firmware for a crappy retro arcade game console that I had lying around, but the only SNES ROM format supported on the CFW is .fig -- I have been unable to find any roms in .fig format (only .smc and .sfc).
