Problem with SMB3 is as soon as you know about the warp whistles, you only play til the W1 mini fortress and then you’re in W8. You could say the same about SMW, you technically only need 11 exits to finish the game. SMW rewards you for exploring, with Star World, Special World, and then the graphical changes in the new game+.

I personally prefer Super Mario World for a couple reasons, but Super Mario Bros 3 definitely does have some big pros over World. SMB3 has more power ups with the Fire Flower, Super Leaf, Frog Suit, Hammer Suit, and Tanooki Suit compared to World just having the Fire Flower, awful P-Balloon, and OP Cape Feather, which is the definition of ...

2024年5月13日 · SMB3 and SMW are both characterized by ‘gimmick’ levels where a concept only appears in one or two levels. However, SMB3 has more, shorter levels, while SMW has less, longer levels. I prefer the latter.
