Because the SP5L is imported by our friends at H&K USA, it legally can’t come outfitted as a rifle with a stock. However, new owners are free to swap out the pistol endcap for a stock, without having to wait for ATF approval to make a short barrel rifle.

At the heart of the SP5L is the legendary roller-delayed blowback operating system. Features a 16.5" threaded tri lug barrel, fluted chamber, magazine release and charging handle all borrowed from the MP5.

The SP5 is available in various model versions. In the shortest version, SP5 K, it has a barrel length of 115 mm, while the SP5 K PDW has an additional tri-lug and ½ x 28 thread and a barrel length of 148 mm. Both pistol models can be equipped with an optional buttstock.
