The goal of the volunteer program is to support the mission of The SPCA for Monterey County through dedicated individuals giving their time and enhancing their skills to serve our community. Our hundreds of volunteers donate thousands of hours every year, providing essential support to our programs and services that help all animals in need.

The SPCA Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Center is the only full service wildlife rehabilitation center serving Monterey County. We operate under permits from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife and the United States Fish and Wildlife Service.
