I have put 1200+ rounds through it, no problems for the last 1000+. i have shot the SR9 as well, and except for the size difference no discernable difference. with the 10 round magazine with the flat bottom this disappears as a carry gun. welcome to the forum, by the way.

2009年6月1日 · Have to agree JAG. I purchased a used OD green SR9 in May 2010 with a 330-53XXX serial number and a 3/5/2009 test fire date. Don't know how many rounds have gone through the gun prior to my purchase, but I put at least 400 a week down range, and have personally put well over 2000 rounds down the barrel.

2019年5月25日 · Granted, the SR9 and 9E are just recently out of production. I have all three of the guns listed and love each one of them. The P95 I keep as a truck gun was made in the last year of production (2013) and I too agree with previous posts that they are guns that will handle lots of abuse and keep on running.

2017年5月24日 · So I read a lot of reviews, a lot of blogs, and a lot of message boards. Then I looked at (and held) a lot of guns. Eventually, I fired a lot of guns. Finally, I settled in on the one gun I had fallen in love with, the Ruger SR9c. It is not the gun for everyone, but it was — and still is — the perfect fit for what I wanted.

2010年9月7日 · You should never dry fire a SR9 without a magazine in the gun. Your friend is wrong and it will do damage to your gun. If you would like to dry fire a SR9 without the magazine in you will have to remove the magazine disconnect to do so. It is a very simple process which can be found on you tube.

2016年4月29日 · I own an SR9, and handled a 9mm RAP at a local gun show last January. My observations: IMHO, the SR9 has more going for it: great feel, full-size grip, well balanced, traditional luger styling - and a proven track record. Plus, while the SR9 IS a full-size 9mm, it's narrow profile makes it a suitable, dual purpose firearm: HD and SD.
