2010年2月7日 · Currently i am getting my SRV sounds through a Marshall Super 100 with a Keeley modded TS808, an Area51 wah, Cats Eye Mista Fuzz and Effectrode Tube Vibe with the CS SRV strat. Sounds great to me, I just need to get that Fender amp tone thing going. (played Marshalls all my life). Like the OP's info, good to see some thoughts from others.

2010年2月7日 · Using larger output transformers such as the Bassman 50 watt multi tap. Stevie always blew up his JBL D130F speakers. He went to the JBL K130, then at last he used EVM 15L speakers. I am all about sticking to Fenders exact circuit. Visually and toneally. Just remember, an amp like this will be very loud w/ a lot of headroom.

2008年8月13日 · that's what i did! now my tele (62 AV RI w/ fralin strat neck & fralin tele bridge) has 3 equally strong sounds, rather than the usual classic bridge, kinda neat middle, and so-so neck. i can get a large part of the way towards jimi-srv neck tones, espeially through my marshall with the amp turned up and the guitar turned down. i can't get it all the way there, because that steel trem block ...
