I logged into SRX240, added a root password and "set chassis cluster cluster-id 1 node 0 reboot" Then after reboot I tried to delete the ge-0/0/0 config but it wouldn't let me. I rebooted the srx240 again and ever since my root password doesn't work.

after power failure the file system crash on SRX240 box. The device is unusable now so I've been trying reinstall via USB using # loader> install --format file:///junos-srxsme-10.4R5.5-domestic.tgz . I've tried different USB stick (the last try was with Kingston USB stick) but every try stop in the same moment. Does some one has similar problem ?

2010年5月7日 · So it appears the SRX240 is the cause of this issue. I have had the Dialogic and UM setup on the NS25 in this same manner for over a year with no dropped calls. It wasn't until I replaced the NS25 with the SRX240 that it started dropping calls. I have never had to setup QOS type rules before and in the past, I never had to.

We're thinking of upgrading from our NS500 to a SRX240, however I have a performance question that relates to our current setup. We have a FTP server in a DMZ zone and when we transfer data to or from the FTP server into our trusted zone we do not get great throughput.

2011年2月5日 · I have a SRX240 that seems to be hitting a bandwidth limit at 100Mbps. I have 4 SFP Mini-PIM modules installed in addition to the 16 on-board 10/100/1000 ports. The SRX currently uplinks to our border router via fiber off Mini-PIM 3 (ge-3/0/0). There are 2 links to a downstream switch that feeds our residence halls (ge-0/0/0 and ge-0/0/1).

2015年5月19日 · Hello , The Security Policy is for transit traffic traversing the SRX firewall , As per the session details I see that you are initiating the traffic from the device , for which the normal security policy does not apply and it will take the self generated traffic policy ( by default ) since this is host genetared traffic or system generated traffic .

Just FYI for all those who are looking to cluster SRX240 or SRX650. Do not use ge-0/0/0 for fabric link. The reason is on those platforms ge-0/0/0 is designated as fxp0 (management) interface when cluster mode is enabled. So ge-0/0/0 and ge-0/0/1 are both designated for a purpose (fxp0 and fxp1 respectively).
