2012年7月23日 · Microtech Small Arms Research went out of business a while ago, but their website is back online and the new owners are bringing an updated version of the STG rifle to market. The STG-E4 is patterned after the Steyr AUG. It will be available with either .223 or .300 AAC BLK barrels. The fluted barrels are available in 16.5”, 18.5” and 20” lengths.

Serial #600-P010431, 5.56mm NATO, 16" and 20" fluted barrels with excellent, bright bores. This is a US-made version of the venerable Steyr AUG, and is fitted with the 1.5x optic. The OEM matte black metal finish is virtually unworn, and the OD green polymer stock and folding vertical foregrip are in excellent condition as well.

The Gen 5 E4 Rifle will accept most M16/AR-15 mags in addition to this proprietary, diamond patterened, MSAR magazine, which has undergone a significant redesign. Fits both AR15's and MSAR's STG-E4. This magazine has a 30rd. capacity.

2011年4月6日 · Keep in mind though that GEN IV STG-556 rifle and E4 rifle stocks are interchangeable if you can locate one to purchase. Gen III and lower STG-556 rifles can be modified by Ratworx to accept an E4 stock at nominal cost. GEN IV and E4 rifles have the new extractor design, but GEN III and lower will require the new extractor if not already upgraded.
