2011年9月4日 · Well, I finally got around to taking the Spartan 9mm out to the range. This is my third 1911. I have one (GSG) in .22, one (Kimber Compact CDP) in .45 acp and now the STI Spartan 9mm. My father carried the 1911 during WWII and I absolutely love the platform.

2015年10月22日 · Shoot a 9mm 1911 with a 10# recoil spring and than shoot a 9mm STI with a recoilmaster, pretty significant difference. By changing the recoil spring you may be able to get back on target quicker. If you have some spare time: For my own Para 18.9 and SVI 2011 in 9mm I always end up with a 10# spring, it just feels best.
