2011年9月24日 · As far as lean issues getting up on the booster...remember the SV1 is a 1:1 linkage setup when you think about it. Four barrels with soft progressives are more forgiving at cruise rpm as they cruise on just half the carb. But the SV1 when setup properly will idle, cruise and make wot power much better than a four barrel.

You can apply this to all carbs, but the SV1 relies very little on squirters (as the boosters come on real fast) and the SV1 relies more on idle mixture being proper for the engine for best response.

2016年5月3日 · Every one has a different story. I ran a 1050 Chuck Nuytten Dominator that was very dialed in. Got a SV1 went to the track made 2 passes took the domimator of made 2 more passes the SV1 pickup 5 hundredths and 1 1/2 MPH.I did nothing but take it out of the box and put it on. Maybe I'm just lucky.

2010年5月14日 · i had a 1350 cfm sv1 on 700 in bbc that went .018 better than 3 other carbs we tried.also tried it on big sbc with alot of nitrous it went .012 better than other carbs we tried. carb had exc throttle response and took very little to make work on 2 different engines.on the bbc it was very consistant

A different hole placement and size in the boosters then gives you the ability to balance out the distribution front to rear during partial opening conditions.
