Established in 1973, the SVDA is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the sport of traditional steel-tip darts in the greater Sacramento area. SVDA is a chapter of the Virginia Dressage Association (VADA), VADA is a Group Member Organization of Region 1 of the United States Dressage Federation (USDF). Membership in SVDA provides an individual with GMO membership in VADA and USDF.

SVDA is proud to host a schooling show series. Scores from these and sanctioned shows may be used towards SVDA Year End Awards program for members in good standing who complete the annual Volunteer Requirement. SVDA offers both USDF and WDAA classes, Introductory Level through Grand Prix, including musical freestyles.

The SVDA has three league seasons each year: Winter, Fall, and Summer. Each season plays for 12 weeks, with the last 2 weeks dedicated to singles and doubles tournaments. Our league consists of 4 divisions: A, B, C, and Rec. A Division: For the truly serious darters. Competitive, focused, and highly skilled.

We are a steel tip dart organization in the Sacramento Valley area coordinating local dart leagues, tournaments, local & regional ADO tournaments. We are promoters of local blind draws, benefits, youth leagues and other things to help make playing darts more enjoyable! All SVDA board members strive to create a safe, fun.
