2007年4月28日 · SVM codes are used for both fixes and upgrades. It is the way that Audi keeps the database upto date with all the options/fixes that have been applied to the car. Tech applies a known fix, uses an SVM code to update Audi HQ Tech fits an Ipod interface, uses an SVM code to code the car accordingly and update Audi HQ that the option has been fitted.

Then need to check it's talking to 17- dash panel with correct coding. it's all about different units talking the same talk! But as with audi the information is hidden within other things.

2010年5月18日 · GO to your dealer and ask them to do an update, There is a new 3cd update package for your car, stop worrying about svm codes, once they have flashed your system they will use the svm code on the cd just to validate the update....That's all.
