SW620 [SW-620] - CCL-227 - ATCC
SW620 [SW-620] is an adherent cell line isolated from the large intestine of a Dukes C colorectal cancer patient. This cell line is highly tumorigenic and has applications in gastrointestinal (GI), cancer, and drug research.

Metastatic SW620 colon cancer cells are primed for death when …
2013年9月12日 · Using a couple of isogenic human colon cancer cell lines derived either from the primary tumor (SW480) or from a lymph node metastasis (SW620), we found that only SW480 cells were sensitive to ...
Human SW620 cells were isolated from a patient with a colorectal adeno-carcinoma, from a lymph node as metastatic site. As routine quality controls, the cells are regularly checked for Mycoplasma contamination and authenticity (via STR DNA Typing). During surgery, tumors cells are implanted into the caecum, a part of the colon compartment.

SW620 cells harvested from tissue culture flasks are implanted into the subcutaneous space of the left flank of the mice. Resulting tumors are monitored by calipering twice weekly. Animal weights are measured three times weekly. Animal behaviour is monitored daily.
SW620 cells harvested from tissue culture flasks are implanted into the subcutaneous space or into the mammary fat pad (subQperior) of the left flank of the mice. Resulting tumors are monitored by calipering twice weekly.

2016年3月3日 · In the present study, we demonstrated miR-145 downregulation in SW620 colon cancer cells and found that expression of miR-145 in normal human colonic epithelial cells was five times higher than that in SW620 cells.
