The Saab 21R was a Swedish fighter / attack aircraft developed and produced by Svenska Aeroplan AB (SAAB). It was a jet -powered development of the piston-engined SAAB 21 and was the first jet aircraft to be produced by Saab. The R-suffix stands for reaktion (reaction), referencing reaktionsdrift (jet power) or reaktionsmotor (jet engine).

The A21RB is a highly manoeuvrable plane, with a good climb rate. The guns, although a downgrade compared to the 13.2 mm MGs from the previous propeller-driven version, still provide enough firepower to down most targets efficiently. The A21RB is also the first to feature the iconic "Paddan" gunpod, giving it additional lead downrange.

The Saab 21R was a Swedish twin-boom fighter/attack aircraft made by SAAB. It was a jet-powered development of the piston-engined Saab 21 which along with the Russian Yakovlev Yak-15 was one of the only two jet fighters successfully converted from a piston-powered aircraft to enter production.

2022年10月16日 · A21RB is basically superior in all aspects while also having a lower repair cost. First of all, super important warning: these things can literally break their wings in a straight line with 80-90% thrust. The engines are way too powerful for the airframe.
