2011年9月30日 · Just got my genuine SAAB ignition switch ($124 from thesaabsite) installed and it fixed all my problems. The cleaning didn't work for me and actually made the car totally non-functional. I couldn't even close windows or sunroof. Just keep that iin mind if you need your car.

2020年4月18日 · I have to say that an ignition switch is the one ProParts/Scantech part that I've been happy with. I installed one in my '97 900 over 10 years ago when the tab that holds the return spring broke. The key stopped springing back after the car was started, but otherwise the original ignition switch was still working perfectly.

2009年9月3日 · The ignition switch does not have any wires connected to it on the bottom. It has a depress switch that connects +S that runs the driver boor buzzer (thanks Jim). Since I removed the ignition switch until I can figure out how to get the ignition lock out without a drill :nono; ruining it, I am manually turning the ignition switch.

2010年9月15日 · After a $100 diagnosis (hook it up to a Tech 2 device) they determined that the actual Steering Column Lock and the Ignition Switch Module needed to be replaced. Glad I did the ISM myself and didn't get charged for that, but the SCL was $677 installed.
