Sabah (Malay pronunciation: [ˈsabah]) is a state of Malaysia located in northern Borneo, in the region of East Malaysia. Sabah has land borders with the Malaysian state of Sarawak to the southwest and Indonesia 's North Kalimantan province to the south. The Federal Territory of Labuan is an island just off Sabah's west coast.

The Kadazan-Dusun people are known for their rice cultivation and colourful traditional attire, often worn during festivals and cultural ceremonies.

The tourist activities in Sabah are focussed primarily on eco tourism and tourism is one of the major contributors to Sabah’s economy.

Sabah is famous for her friendly and hospitable people.
