2021年1月7日 · Obviously pog will always have that historical attachment, but I appreciate the attempt to put some space between the original dude & the term's colloquial usage. Sure, he might be satisfied with this decision, but the sooner he fades into obscurity the better.

PogChamp is a Twitch TV emote of an excited/surprised face. It's usually used when something crazy good happens unexpectedly, although it's over used so people just use it when anything mildly OK happens nowadays. Anyway that's been abbreviated to "Pog" or "Poggers" which is why you see that used more often than the actual emote!
