2021年5月13日 · So, the superlux, i heard people saying that the Sr850 is the hd681 OEM, so i'd expect it to have the same driver. Some people say one is better than the other but i don't think there's a clear winner between those two. So if you want to get away from sr850 treble, the hd681 is the worst choice to go for.

The SR850 is much more of a wide V shaped sound emphasising the mid bass and treble in a way that's fun and makes the music sound very full. The mids are definitely more recessed, but that's not necessarily a bad thing for just casual listening.

I mean they are virtually identical to one another apart from some changes in the molding and slightly different pads, and the frequency response changes pretty much a difference of whether you use velor pads or pleather.

Look at the AutoEQ project, there are settings for more than 2500 headphones but there isn't anything for the SR850.

Upgrading from Samson SR850 to Sennheiser HD560s, worth it?
2022年8月1日 · I own both. The HD560s is a significantly better headphone. I would place it in a completely different category than the samson sr850 in every way. My sr850 was my entry to "audiophile" and gaming audio. Its great for the price but it definately feels entry level. The HD560s is all plastic but it feels much more sturdy and premium.
