The first time, I found that a wire was burned up near the heating element. It was the wire that ran from the hi-limit thermostat to the coil (blue wire). Well, we replaced this wire and all was good.

I turn the selector to anything on the Sensor Dry side and it starts up and reads 44 on the display, runs for a minute, then shows 43, runs for another minute then the display shows 1, and goes into cooling mode and shuts off.

Removed the exhaust hose and ran it but same results. Would appreciate any suggestions/ help in fixing it. Using flexible hose which is less than 1.5 ft long.

I have pretty much the same problem as the previous poster in that my Samsung dryer will not heat. All tests show element and thermal fuse, etc. are good. I receive 120 Vac on one wire at the element box, but 0 Vac on the other wire. The heater relay on the control board is not closing when the dryer is operating and the drum is turning.

1. Power supply to the dryer. Check to make sure you have 220/240V to the dryer. Also, check the terminal block where the power cord attaches for any burned or broken wires. If the dryer only gets one side of the power (120V) it can run but not heat. 2. Bad main control board. 3. Bad centrifugal switch in the drive motor (replace drive motor).

2015年1月29日 · Model Number: DV448AEPXAA0000 Brand: Samsung Age: 1-5 years Original problem is that the dryer wouldn't heat. The vent was totally clogged. Cleaned out the vent. Element was bad. Replaced element assy with the thermostats, also replaced the thermistor. The heat works now.
