Do you agree with what Sarissa did for her ark? [Game Spoilers]
2022年10月2日 · Sarissa stealing that data resulted in the ark being able to take shortcuts within the scourge, and hide from the kett long enough for help to arrive. Just a reminder, the Salarian ark was captured by the kett, and now the salarian population is heavily crippled to the point that they could be in danger of going extinct.
Why was the Sarissa so effective? : r/AskHistorians - Reddit
2019年5月4日 · Pikes like the sarissa saw widespread use by the Macedonians and the post-Alexander successor states, in ancient China, in Renaissance Europe, in Qing China, and 16th century Japan. However, at many other times, they were absent from the …
[MEA Spoilers] Cora's Loyalty Mission Decisions : r/masseffect
2017年8月30日 · Sarissa abandoned her because she thought that doing so would save more lives. While this is logical and admirable, there is no guarantee that Sarissa and the Asari Pathfinder would've both died if Sarissa helped her instead. She made a quick judgment that can't be defended upon further review. Also, what sort of precedent would pardoning ...
[Minor Spoilers] Sarissa or Valeria? : r/masseffect - Reddit
Sarissa letting the previous pathfinder die was a fuck up but one which paid of, my issue was the lack of transparency she displayed. Again the reason I feel Dunn surviving only with Sarissa as pathfinder would be good is purely because she bangs on about how good are shields are. It just would be a neat repercussion to have IMO.
What do you think of Sarissa Theris? : r/MassEffectAndromeda
2020年9月20日 · I think Sarissa's call was, if not a good one, then a reasonable one. She picked information that might save the ark over one person's life -- entirely fair calculus, there, Sarissa. She fucked up in that it just made the kett even more aggressive, but she couldn't have known that. However, keeping it secret was wrong. If we're doing ruthless ...
Sarissas - How were they effective at killing? : r/AskHistorians
2020年3月25日 · The sarissa butt would make the sarissa heavier than these Medieval spears/pikes, and a 4.5m sarissa might be about 3kg, and a 5m sarissa perhaps 3.2kg. These are heavy, but not unreasonably - there were halberds, pollaxes, and huge two-handed swords of similar weight. For a long discussion of the construction of the sarissa, see Matthew (2015).
My favorite Loyalty Mission. Was it best to keep the Asari ... - Reddit
I worry outing Sarissa but keeping her as Pathfinder would wind up having her come back for revenge. Cringey Cora in that mission though...gotta love the look Sarissa gave her when she tried using asari lingo to impress her (and the sarcastic tone she took with Cora over the intercom 'of course commando').
[MEA Spoilers] Pathfinder choices and their consequences
2023年9月19日 · Yep. The way I see it, if I wanted to know what Sarissa would do I could just ask Cora and get the answer without the self-righteous condescension. Vederia has to build up her confidence and learn to be more assertive, but she comes a long way just through Cora's loyalty mission. I'm confident she can grow into the role, just like everyone else.
How did the Macedonians craft such incredibly long spears
2015年1月20日 · The idea of the Sarissa being made of cornel wood is actually something of a myth. The cornel tree splits in growth into different branches, and was not straight enough to be used as material. This site discusses some of the primary sources around the subject, as well as tests some recreations of the Sarissa:
Essential Differences Between the Use of the Macedonian Sarissa …
2013年5月8日 · To summarize, the Macedonian Phalanx was really only strong in head-on fighting and was susceptible to flanking attacks.
