2020年12月18日 · I'm contemplating picking up a Savage 110 high country 7 RM and would like to hear some opinions of the rifle form some that have had experiences with them. I have a couple savages already and they are great shooters so I can't see why this wouldn't be also. Any info would be appriciated.

2022年11月26日 · they used to have model 10 short and 110 long now they are all 110 long & short. yes, the 300 win mag mags can be modified that is what i use they are 3.490, but the WSM will come short action with the 2.995 mag. if you want to build instead of buy go long action

2019年6月8日 · I started using the LH Savages back in the mid 60s. Had both the removable mag and the blind mag versions. The only ones we could ever get were all long actions, 300 Win Mag, 30-06, 270 and the occasional 7 Rem mag. I never saw or heard of one in 308 length actions.

2016年3月14日 · I have a Savage Axis II in .270 and like it very much. It is accurate, light, and I like the adjustable trigger. I took off the scope, added a new rail and mounted a thermal, but it was accurate right out of the box. I also cut the barrel to 16.5" and mounted a silencer. Same accuracy. Can't beat for the cost.

2015年8月3日 · I have a savage 110 chambered in 30-06 sitting in the back of the safe. I don't use it at all as I have a 7mm rem mag and 300 win mag for deer, bear, etc. what if I build it into a long range varmint rifle? I'm thinking 22-250, maybe. Any ideas would help. Thanks! ~ Jake

2005年12月24日 · I have finally gotten on the savage bandwagon and decided to build a 7 stw on a 110 action. I had picked up a 110 270 for next to nothing and decided I should do something with it. After firing it in factory form it seemed like it took a month of sundays after you pulled the trigger for the firing pin to hit home.

2020年11月27日 · Both Savage and Proof stated the only difference between the barrel used by Savage and their own rifle's barrel is the taper. The barrel has a 5GR cut rifling with a 1-8" barrel twist. It is threaded at the muzzle to 5/8 by 24 for the use of a muzzle brake or a suppressor but comes with a threaded cap.

2010年11月7日 · Can any one provide some assistance with rate of twist for a 270 WSM? I was thinking of a Savage 16 FCSS however I noticed that the rate of twist for the Savage is 1 in 11" and all others (Tikka, Rem, Browning, etc.) are 1 in 10 inch. As well all bullet manufactures load data references 1 in 10in. Is this something to be concerned about?
