2020年9月29日 · I modified my 93 GL since Savage doesn't offer a heavy barreled LH 93 in 22 mag. I bought a Green Mountain barrel for a Ruger 77/22 mag and machined the tennon to the Savage diameter & length. Then sanded out the barrel channel of the stock for it to fit. It turned out really well, and shoots pretty good also.

2010年1月21日 · If i had to pick between the two i would go with the savage probably, but i have never owned a marlin so i'm biased. i have nothing against marlin at all, but i love my savage 93 in 17 hmr. it is an absolute tack drive even WITHOUT the accutrigger. i have a little older one with out it and i can deal with the trigger just fine.

2020年4月8日 · Call Savage and let them know. They sometimes let out defective mags. They sent me new mags for my .17 HMR when I brought the issue to their attention. The real issue with the mags is probably not the lips, but rather the flat pins weren't pressed correctly. Get a screw driver and re-ping them to lock the mag together properly.

2017年12月26日 · So, as most everyone with a Savage model 93 knows, the M93 magazines are junk. They are sloppy, and when you insert the magazine it dumps all the cartridges out of the magazine well in an assertive manner; sending them flying through the air with gusto. This appears to be a very common issue with these guns.

2012年9月18日 · The gun is a Savage 93 fv .22 mag bolt action rifle. It has the synthetic black stock, blued, adjustable accutrigger, and bull barrel. It was bought new a year ago. Only a couple dozen rounds of ammo has been shot out of it and that was just to zero the scope. The scope is a matte Simmons 3-9x32 with adjustable objective.

2024年2月4日 · I have the Savage 93 Savage B Mag in 17 WSM, both have the cheap plastic stock. Both shoot like match guns. You cannot buy more accurate guns at any price. I thought I was just lucky getting a pair that good but I know lots of people with Savage rimfires and they all say they are tack drivers. Go for it.

2024年7月27日 · I have a left handed Savage model 93 .22 WMR. It was actually cheaper than a right handed one, because it had been sitting in the store for a year and they wanted to free up space for new inventory. 😛

2012年4月3日 · Just purchase a new Savage model 93FXP 22 WMR from Gander Mountain. Went to the range to sight in the scope with Winchester Super X 40 gr. FMJ ammo. Out of 50 rounds I had 6-8 misfires. After rotating the rounds 1-3 times I was able to fire most of them. Before I contact Savage and/or GM I am wondering if anybody has experienced a similar problem.
