2012年9月23日 · A lot of 99E’s in 308 are bought for rechambering into 358 for instance. The last of the Savage 99 models are the model A’s and the Brush Guns. These guns came in hard to find calibers. The model A’s came in 243, 250, 300 Sav, 308 and the hard to find 375 Win. The 375 was only produced in this model for 2 years so finding one is a chore.

2014年1月18日 · I have 2 Savage 99 rifles. A 99EG in .300Savage that has a lever boss date code [F, I think and was told] that corresponds to 1954, and a serial number that is 699,xxx [not coy: forget last three digits].

2019年2月11日 · That is a 99-A saddle gun. Fireball is right on the production years of that model. The date code on the lever boss ended in 1971 or 72. The Q stamped on the receiver ring is probably an inspection stamp, also rifle barrels are measured from the bolt face to the muzzle which from your pics it looks like 20".
