Hi I am new to illustrator and created an image that uses "Skia-Regular" font. But when I save that image in .svg format, it changes the font type. And when I open the .svg format file in browser the font is completely different. Can anyone please tell me what am I doing wrong.

2013年5月18日 · I keep another instance of Inkscape running on the side and just copy-paste the object I want to save into the scratch document, then save. Another option if you just want the path data is to select the object, Shift+Ctrl+X to open the XML editor, grab the pieces you want (usually the d attribute), then paste to wherever.

The Save for the Web also has the artboards option, but again, only offers gif, jpeg and png formats. The Save-as option does let me save as SVG, but does not offer any way to save the icons into different files. Also, I have like 150+ icons, so I can't use artboards anyways (CS6 restricts me to 100 artboards only).

2018年6月19日 · You can save SVG files from Photoshop. You go to a vector layer, shape layer, text layer - basically any non-rasterized layer that you have in Photoshop and right click on that layer to choose 'Export As...' this will allow you to pick SVG from the drop down list in the top right.

2016年2月27日 · The only way to achieve what you want is to copy the image to Adobe Illustrator and save it as an SVG file. I'm not sure why you would do that, though, since the point of SVG is to make Scalable Vector Graphics so you can resize the image without it getting pixelated.

I have tried to change different CSS properties from presentation attributes ( best quality but large file) to style elements ( size became smaller but their colours weren't right to some of the artwork) .

2019年8月2日 · All you need to do is save your SVG file as a .svg file. If your text editor doesn't allow you to save as .svg, you can save it as a regular text file (.txt) and change the file extension to .svg. If you want software to open and edit an SVG graphicially, you can use vector image editors, such as Inkscape, or Adobe Illustrator.

2019年7月29日 · The complextity of the elements somehow seems to exceed limits of PostScript or PDF. If you save your SVG as Optimized SVG, you can reduce that complexity quite a bit. While Inkscape still has the same problems with the optimized version, I used another app, Sketch to open it and export the PDF, and it seems to work fine. → PDF
