I think it would have to be "for" even if "greet" were appropriate in a given context.

2010年6月29日 · I wouldn't say, "Say hello to X from me." It has to be "for". "From" is possible in some situations. E.g., you might send someone a greeting card: "Happy Birthday from all your friends".

2010年10月26日 · "Hi" is informal, whilst "Sir" or "Madam" is formal. No-one will be offended if you put the two together, but it will sound wrong. If you're going to use "Sir" or "Madam", I would suggest you use "Hello" with it instead.
