2023年5月11日 · Previously, I used my ix500 scanner with ScanSnap software to import directly into Evernote. The setup was configured to scan directly into whatever folder had the focus in Evernote, so if I was scanning a stack of bills, I'd select the Evernote folder and everything I subsequently scanned would end up in that folder.

2012年1月25日 · I use Evernote with my trusty ScanSnap scanner, and it all works very well together. From what I see, the Evernote profile in ScanSnap basically sets up a 'watch' folder for Evernote, and then ScanSnap scans into it. This folder now holds many pdf files that have presumably all been uploaded into Evernote.

2024年4月20日 · The workflow with v10 is to scan into ScanSnap Home (which is supported), and from there save the file into an Import Folder. The file will be imported into a new note, that is named after the file. If you assign a good file name, you avoid rework with the note title. ScanSnap Manager was updated in the past to 64bit, but is now deprecated.

I get „good“ titles instead of the often cryptic outcome of the scan. This avoids rework. After naming I choose the import folder linked to the appropriate notebook.

2023年7月1日 · Probably ScanSnap Manager ist still installed, and linked to the execution. Watch for it in your Applications folder. ScanSnap software is a messy disaster - it is typical Windows chaos with a million of little apps in subfolders, not the nice, one app we are used from Mac software. Probably you will find both, Home and manager, and more.

2013年1月14日 · 1) ScanSnap does not allow me to change the "untitled 001" name. Whereas when I set Scan Mgr to "scan to folder" the program pauses after the scan and allows me to change the name and it would be saved under the changed file name. When I look on the hard drive I see this name the I entered.

2022年3月4日 · Don’t scan right into the import folder ! ScanSnap usually sets up a folder for itself, can be that one for the first storage. Whatever folder you use, don’t use the Import folder as scanning target. Set up a completely separate Import Folder. I have mine on the desktop, because I drop other files there as well.
