2012年12月6日 · I own a MK2 Scirocco, 1.6 GT. I managed to get hold of a set of rear calipers from a Corrodo VR6 and converted the rear drums to brake discs and pads. I have also replaced all the brake lines from the master cylinder to the calipers, front and back. I have also fitted braided brake hoses. I even replaced the brake master cylinder.

2024年5月20日 · My 1981 Mk1 scirocco has all original suspension bits, and the rear struts are leaking. I was going to replace just the struts with OEM, but thought a coilover installation on all four corners might be a good thing to upgrade the entire platform and obtain some adjustability and better ride quality. I'm keeping the stock wheels and tires.

2009年12月1日 · The first car I ever owned was an '85 Scirocco, and growing up my dad had a couple of them as well. They are one of my favorite cars of all time. I don't own one currently, but as soon as I have a place with a garage I plan on finding a mid to late '80's Scirocco (preferrably a 16v) to play with.

2023年10月9日 · I have a Scirocco R (65 plate). On the 30th July I had the brake pads, wheel bearings and discs replaced on the car which all seemed to be fine. But on the 9th September my girlfriend said that whilst at a set of traffic lights on a hill, the tyre pressure light came on and by the time she'd driven to flat ground it'd gone out.
