May 14, 2023 · i think SCP 268 should be more lore accurate and have no cooldown and also have its own containment chamber in hcz i know it op but maybe they could find a way to balance that who knows Being able to use 268 without a cool-down would be extremely op. I would love to see it have a dedicated CC tho

Oct 16, 2020 · When held, SCP-268 can be used by left clicking. Right clicking before SCP-268 is worn will stop the user from using it. Upon use, SCP-268 will make the user invisible for 15 seconds. The invisibility effect will be instantaneously canceled if the user does any interactions such as shooting, reloading, opening a door or using an item.

079 can see people using the hat because 268's "invisibility" doesn't actually make you invisible.Its a memetic effect that makes you unnoticeable.Since 079 is a computer,268's memetic effect has no effect on him.
