2012年1月14日 · i have seen some mention of the Simcoe bug being a perch killa. I have pictures and instructions , but need to know more. Has anyone on here made them ? I have some scud lures that are an exact copy without the yarn. I'll need some instructions to complete the lure. Here is a picture. Uploaded with ImageShack.us

2015年12月30日 · Last time I was there I caught 2 around 18" pumped stomachs and found scuds and something similar to a hellgrammite? They were still alive and crawled back into the hole! I was using pink plastics with meal worm but scuds were olive and the unknown bug was more gray than anything!

2014年12月26日 · The gizzy bug I like to use a 14 inch dropper below a cast master. I take the hook off the cast master and put premium swivels at both ends. I've learned that using the better swivels tangles less. And I use a 1/32.oz jig head for the gizzy bug and I tip it with night crawler or wax worm or Perch eye. I'm known to catch them 72-75 feet deep.

2025年3月13日 · I've watched a bunch of video and it's not to hard to copy a bait. Ton's of video on Youtube. That is the route I would look at. There's not much made commercially, Bug's molds makes a lot of small leads mold but I don't see those listed, or close.

2025年2月24日 · I was an avid subscriber in the 90s ...bass fisherman in those days ..then the ice bug bit.. In Fisherman was my go to for information ..Ice Fishing Secret book and DVDs really paved the way for our sport . What's old is new again ...baits and techniques hardly changed colors and paint materials/schemes etc are improvements on a old theme.

2025年1月26日 · I just returned from a four-day ice fishing trip to the upper Mississippi near La Crosse, WI and definitely have the bug now. Conditions were great; 14+" of ice, no snow, super low temps, ice making each day, and more and more cars and trucks driving out.
