You're thinking of the BN SD60Ms. What you said is true regarding those units. 4 SD60MACs were built, BNSF operated them until 1998 and they were returned to EMD. At least one was spotted at La Grange a few years back being used as a testbed for another project and some were used at TTCI in Pueblo, CO for what, I dont know.

2006年3月9日 · The difference is in the drive system either a DC drive in the SD60M or an AC drive in the SD60MAC. The other really big difference is that there were only four SD60MACs built as demonstrators before the model was superceeded by the SD70MAC.
