2020年2月3日 · 8. Self cleaning impeller. From Seachem Support: The self cleaning feature of the Tidal Filters can be explained by the structure and build of the impeller housing. There is a groove in the Tidal 55 that goes through the slot where the impeller stays and it will continuously clean the impeller of any debris or buildup.

2020年3月7日 · Anyways here is the meat of the matter. Planning on a 20 long with two Seachem Tidal 35 filters. I would really like to have the Tidal 55's because the media basket is larger but it would be too much flow. If you look at Seachem's site you'll notice all the Tidal filters have different wattage pumps except the 35 and 55 that both use 6-watts.

2018年2月28日 · The range of flow adjustment on the tidal filters is huge, way more than on the AC’s. You can dial them back to a trickle if u want (but then ur underfiltering, sooo...). IMO, with either AC70 or tidal 75 on a 55, you’re probably going to want additional filtration and/or water movement capability; second hob, sponge filter, water mover, etc.
