The Erasmus+ project SEGAE is the first European Serious Game in AgroEcology. Dedicated to initial and continuing training, this business game aims to develop a sustainable agriculture by facilitating a multidisciplinary understanding and a systemic approach to agroecology.

SEGAE: a serious game to learn agroecology. Hello! We are very pleased to welcome you on this website presenting the serious game that we developed during the Erasmus+ project SEGAE.

SEGAE (SErious Game for AgroEcology learning) is a tool for teaching the systems approach, multidisciplinarity and the management of agro-ecological transitions. This educational game, aimed at students and professionals, was designed by 6 European universities.

2021年6月1日 · To improve agroecology learning, we built the online simulation game SEGAE (https://rebrand.ly/SEGAE). This article illustrates the relevance of SEGAE for learning agroecology, by (i) detailing the conceptual model and the game itself and (ii) providing examples of game sessions.

Now tested and approved, the SEGAE game is ready to be used by everyone from December 16, 2020. Principles of the game The player manages a virtual farm and implements agroecological practices to improve its sustainability.

Designed for initial education (from high school to higher education) as well as for continuing education, the strategy game SEGAE offers real immersion in the long-term management of a farm. This simulation tool thus enhances and puts classic teaching into practice.

The SEGAE serious game project: SErious Game in AgroEcology has just been awarded the Erasmus + "Good Practice" label.

Funded by the ERASMUS + programme and the French Agroecology Chair, the game is freely accessible online in 6 languages (Dutch, English, French, Italian, Polish, Spanish), together with video tutorials, teaching guide and online courses: http://rebrand.ly/segae.
