The SEP modular armoured vehicle (Splitterskyddad enhetsplattform), Swedish for "Fragmentation Protected Standard Platform", is a hybrid diesel-electric powered armoured fighting vehicle developed by BAE Systems AB. The vehicle is codenamed "Thor".

The Swedish SEP 6×6 & 8×8 Wheeled Family of Armoured Fighting Vehicles. Development of the wheeled version of SEP started in November 2001. A 6×6 prototype (pictured above) was delivered to the Swedish Army in 2003. In 2003 a second tracked SEP test bed vehicle was ordered and delivered during November 2005.

2019年7月23日 · The SEP 8x8 armored personnel carrier evolved from the tracked and wheeled modular armored vehicle programme. It is an innovative and advanced design. Vehicle was developed by the BAE Systems Hagglunds to meet Swedish Army requirement. The SEP studies started in 1994. Demonstrators were produced in 2000 (tracked) and 2003 (6x6).

Various weapons packages including remote controlled weapon platforms with 7.62mm or 12.7mm machine guns or 40mm automatic grenade launchers. Also there are turret options with 25mm to 120mm guns. The vehicle can also carry 81mm or 120mm mortars.

The vehicle family, known as SEP, is derived from a new wheeled vehicle prototype design that was initially unveiled in 2001. Two wheeled vehicles comprise the SEP family: a SEP 6x6 variant and a newer 8x8 version, which was first rolled out on February 19, 2007.
