There's something about the new Shade Polymorph and Ragebound Crown Crates that's got Elder Scrolls Online players riled up. While you may not actually become a nightmare straight out of a necromancer's fever dreams, you can certainly fool onlookers by taking on the guise of a shade. Just try not to do any cutesy things while drifting around.

2025年3月13日 · Shades are hungry, hateful spirits from the Void. They appear as entities shrouded in black attires, with luminescent bodies underneath. They are often found alongside shade colossi and voidmothers.

Summon Shade, great for applying minor maim and for the awesome jukes. This morph is also bugged and prevents other nightblades from cloaking if they cloak right as the shade shoots an arrow.

2025年3月17日 · Summon Shade summons a shade of yourself to fight at your side. The shade does Magic Damage, and reduces its targets' ability to cause damage. It can be controlled, but unlike most familiars, they are intangible. This means that they cannot be killed— and, likewise, can neither taunt nor tank damage.

Dark shades is a good skill for PvE nightblade builds. It gives minor maim as a debuff that can have a 100% uptime for you and your group, and is especially good when you're soloing, as well as being a great DoT.

2020年6月29日 · Shade is great for solo stuff and massive for PvP, particularly on a Magblade. I think mark target & cloak works better for ganking, but if you are doing a 1vX type thing then shade is really useful.

Summon a shade version of yourself to attack an enemy and fight at your side for 20 seconds. The shade attacks nearby enemies within 9 meters of it, dealing 623 Magic Damage once every 2 seconds and afflicting them with Minor Maim for 4 seconds, reducing their damage done by 5%.

2022年5月11日 · Summon shade is a neat trick in Cyrodiil where you can port back on a wall/cliff you just jumped off. It basically ports you through walls. There is no stam version but it's pretty good to have one or two skill that cost magicka as a stamblade.
