“Shag” is an old English word meaning a heavy or rough woolenfabric. So Shagweaver literally means “wool weaver”. Award winning strong, dark treacle coloured porter, brewed with English hops and a malty finish. An ale that harks back to 18th century London. Descended from brown beer, porter is a well hopped beer made from dark roasted malt.

Brewed with New Zealand hops, this award-winning golden ale is seriously hoppy! With vibrant grapefruit aromas, and moreish citrus notes on the palate, this beer will appeal to ale and lager drinks alike, whilst being the perfect accompaniment to a spicy weekend curry.

2005年3月3日 · The beer that the group always drinks is Pabst Blue Ribbon beer. I don't really know why they call it Beevo, but after rewatching the movie, I'm sure its Pabst Blue Ribbon.

2005年6月9日 · SHAG beer, a recent import into Australia (never seen it!) is going to be pulled from the market. Its advertising apparently featured a bottle on a table, with the title "on the table" and underneath had the caption "Fancy a shag?", plus the comical drawing of a "shag" bird on the label was marketed too directly at kids.
