2012年2月5日 · This Sharpless object is very dim and difficult to shoot (as they usually are). The bright, peanut shape, area at middle is known as Sh2-205, bright nebula, at top left, is NGC 1491. Image spans about 5,5 degrees horizontally, that's 11 full Moons side by side.

SH2-205 (Sharpless 205) This nebula has an interesting shape to it and it fairly large in size. That said the brighter part you can see picks up fairly well but if you want to also capture the surrounding nebula, this will require a lot more time as it is very dim.
