The Trichy / Thanjavur / Tamil Nadu and All India stream will be applicable as per Stream 1. The rank list is published online within three hours from the deadline for submission of application. The allotment of seats to students completing schooling at Thanjavur & Trichy (20%), Tamil Nadu (30%), All India (with reasonable cap for major States) remains unchanged with special provisions for NE States and other special status States/UTs.

Seats shall be filled in the order All India – Tamil Nadu – Trichy / Thanjavur. A student qualified under TN or TRY / TNJ shall be admitted against All India vacancy first and will be considered to TN or TRY / TNJ only if there is no All India vacancy and likewise for TN to TRY / TNJ

2018年3月16日 · SASTRA Deemed University started in 1984 in the form of Shanmugha College of Engineering, affiliated to the Bharathidasan University, Trichy. In 2001 it was renamed as Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology & Research Academy. It was the first institution to get the ‘Deemed University status’ in Tamil Nadu.

Today, SASTRA is one of India’s premier institutions offering undergraduate, postgraduate & doctoral programmes in Engineering, Management, Law, Sciences, Humanities and Education. It was conferred Deemed-to-be-University status in 2001 by the University Grants Commission under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956.
