Shaw pod is a satellite unit of a DUAL band mesh system. You can notice a larger range of coverage but the speed will drop. You can buy a set of triple band mesh routers and bridge it to your Shaw device.

2019年4月19日 · Looks like Shaw is selling a mesh Wi-Fi network of their own. However they are charging $10 a month to use them. Anyone know what brand they are using and what's a better alternative? It's with the Arris/Technicolor XB6 modem so my guess is one of them. There's no actual manufacturer shown on the pods themselves (I have a set).

If I want to have a better wifi signal for my house ground floor (my modem is 2nd floor), would it be better to get a ignite wifi pod from shaw or a wifi extender (tp-link etc).
