2023年3月3日 · Across three modems (XB7 and 2 XB8s), I have seen Rogers disable the 160 Mhz bandwidth on the 5 Ghz band. My wifi speed went from ~1500 Mbps to ~750 Mbps every time. This bandwidth has now been completely hidden by the back end.

2020年9月22日 · I just installed an XB7 gateway. It works fine, but I can’t find a user manual for it. A Comcast rep says my XB7 is an ARRIS TG4482A, and the Software page on the gateway web server (10.0.0.1) seems to confirm this.

2023年1月22日 · I really want to put XB7 in a bridge mode and connect port#4 (2.5gig) to my ASUS (2.5gig WAN) and then ASUS has 2.5 LAN to connect to my desktop to benefit with over 1 gig speed. ASUS then will do all main router work.

2023年10月28日 · Problem: cannot download near the theoretical 1.5Gbps speed using a 2.5G USB ethernet adapter or even download a bit beyond 1Gbps. Expecting to get an acceptable 1.3Gbps download speed. Last week Oct.17, a Shaw technician already came over to my place & he is getting 1695.44 Mbps download & 176.70 Mbps upload on his connection device tester.
