Big Problems, Massive Potential: A Shi Xie review. : r/totalwar
Sep 4, 2020 · Shi Xie is a "tall" faction and does very well with a vassal swarm. As for the chests, mix and match. They are incredibly powerful. e.g. the chests that provide factionwide buffs, can be stacked three times when you have a prime minister (heir and faction leader), and I think 11 times at emperor rank (faction leader, heir and the 9 minister ...

I love Shi Qingxuan's and Xie Lian's friendship : r/tianguancifu
Xie Lian did care about Shi Qingxuan and always wondered about where he was. It's just because of his bad luck, he wasn't able to be succesful. "But Hua Cheng having a fashion show was one of the best parts of the arc" While I do respect your opinion thinking it's comedic, I really wish to see more fans acknowledge how scared Shi Qingxuan was ...
[3K history] TIL that Shi Xie (leading the southernmost ... - Reddit
Mar 8, 2020 · Having had so many run-ins with Shi Xie and his heir Shi Hui during my campaigns in the south, I grew curious and started reading more about him. He was apparently a very capable ruler who, in his 40 years of ruling Jiao Province (i.e. present day Guangxi, Guangdong and Hainan) kept his lands stable, prosperous and most importantly, free of war.
Shi Xie sets a bad precedent that must not be allowed to go
Shi Xie is basically another bottom of the barrel FLC lord like Tao Qian, which highlights I guess one of the bigger problems of the game. Early losers that are not 'important to the period' with the odd one out being Liu Biao and Yan Baihu are not given much, be it unique VA's, many unique characters, or entirely interesting units.
Shi Xie is monstrously strong, why the hate? : r/totalwar - Reddit
I actually quit my Shi Xie campaign way early (like turn 30-40) because it was getting so easy. I had secured the nearby Han territories and was getting started on the Nanman but I was rolling way too easily. This was also VH/VH too so it’s not like I was on an easy difficulty. His mechanics are just really OP if you leverage them correctly.

It looks like Shi Xie doesn't have unique units at all.
Aug 28, 2020 · So are Tao Qian's Territorial units but they still have unique mechanics and a fresh coat of paint. All they need to do for Shi Xie is take a couple of Nanman axemen (or even the Yue models), repaint them and label them "Nanman Mercenaries". That would be …
Shi Xie - Past and present : r/totalwar - Reddit
Sep 4, 2020 · Beating my Lu Bu Campaign in a world betrayed would not been as nearly as epic without Shi Xie as one of the Emperors, i was barely able to field 3 Doom Stacks because how fast you were able to gain prestige in 1.50, which made the journey towards the South a massive challenge, i was not comfortable leaving 2/3 of my empire unprotected and it took me massive balls to say fuck it i am going ...
How do you interpret the ending for Shi Qingxuan and He Xuan?
Feb 25, 2020 · Every single time Shi Qingxuan treated him above all others, didn’t care a bit about himself but only about his happiness, gave overly generous gifts to him, and cared for him like family, is hard for him to forget. After he lost his own family and everything, the only person who was there for him after that genuinely was Shi Qingxuan.
